This came up with the other day with a reviewer and thought it might be worth sharing here on the BB. There are actually 10 shades in this line while QVC only offers 5 of them. You can find them at the Ardency website and Sephora. I also found the shade descriptions more accurate on Sephora - they actually mention "cool" and "warm" tones. What a concept!
I think many feel they have to fit into the 5 that QVC sells when there are 5 more from which to select. The medium beige, for example, I thought might be my best bet then saw it on their complete color chart and it is 3rd from the end in the darkest colors. No way would I ever be that close to the darkest shades as I am a light/medium. But QVC seems to have chosen an odd assortment to offer here.
For any who gave up based on the shades sold here, check out the complete line as they have an excellent assortment. I have never understood why QVC seems so reluctant to offer the complete line in any brand - and it is even more infuriating to me to hear the hosts say the majority will be this or that when half of the shades are excluded. Just a pet peeve of mine yet I know many others get frustrated by foundation colors (or the lack thereof) sold here.

Yeah, I've been waiting for it to come to my local sephora so I can do a shade test. I am pretty sure all the ones QVC offered will be too dark for me. I really like the idea behind this. I hope it comes to my Sephora soon!

It's really a shame they don't offer samples. I just might email them and explain the frustration of not being able to determine shades from a website, which obviously has to affect overall sale numbers. It seems to me the way this product works that it would be relatively easy and inexpensive for them to create a shade sampler. They would only need to include minimal amounts since it is a concentrated formula. There is another brand here who sells a little sampler pack, can't think of the brand, and I did order it but unfortunately, it leaked in shipping so don't have too much to test with. QVC was nice enough to credit me back the whooping amount of $5.26 without asking for the leaky sampler back. I think that one included a foundation sampler and a bronzing perfector or something like that. It is so hot here this year (earlier and hotter than usual) that I have been surprised more of my cosmetic and skincare purchases haven't had more problems like that. I've been very grateful that they have not.
I'll let you know if they respond~

ah yes, the Becca sampler, I am sure is what you are referring to.
Sepohora did have a sampler of the Ardency few of the shades as one of their free samples you can choose, however they were darker shades I know I wouldn't be able to use. Plus, I rarely ever get the samples I request at checkout from Sephora, lol! Anyway, so I KNOW this brand makes samplers.
But yes, let us know what they say if they answer.
