if i'm not mistaken, the it cc cream has it's own primer in it. check it out and you'll see that you don't need a moisturizer or a primer.

I'm going to try it again. How do you like to apply it? Fingers, brush (which one?,) sponge, etc.? Also, primer, or no primer? I have the bareminerals bb tinted primer but thinking I may want to try something without color, perhaps the It No. 50. But want to get an idea if you all use primer first. Thanks!
@Rachb IT CC+ Cream has a primer built in so technically you don't need one, but I use Missha BB Boomer first anyway. It has no real color in it, but there is a very, very faint pinkish pearlescent tint from the crushed pearls in the mix. It's really nice, IMO. The IT No. 50 primer is nice too, but costly, IMO. As for how to apply the CC Cream, there are many good videos on youtube as well as tutorials on various blogs. Some people like fingers, some like brushes, some like sponges or beauty blenders, or a combination. Here's a link to some general info on how to use each tool/method. Just play around and see which method you like. How to Apply BB Cream After I give it a few seconds or so to dry a little, I like to dust some Laura Geller Baked Elements over it before applying my powdered blush.

I use the IT CC+ cream daily for my foundation. I usually don't use a primer, just my usual skincare and moisturizer. Today though, I used Laura Gellar's Spackle for a change and don't really notice any difference in the way my skin looks. I probably won't continue to use primer under it. The CC cream holds up well throughout the day, so I really don't need primer. I was just seeing if it helped my fine lines and pores by using primer first. Part of the lure of CC cream is that you don't need to use your skincare or primer. I agree with the primer part, but I like to use specific things for skincare. Once in a while on the weekend I'll put just the CC cream on without my usualy skincare and it still looks great.
I use the angled brush below that I got in this kit to apply my CC cream. I get a flawless application and it does not go on heavy at all. I find if I apply it with my fingers it looks heavy and streaky.

I love the It CC cream... but I have to make sure that my skin is well mositurized before I apply it. I have drier skin and I like a dewey look. I do not use a primer. I use the Josie Maran spf 47 ... 3 pumps . Then apply approx. 1 pump or less of the It CC cream. I like to use my fingers. I dot it around, then rub, and then pat (stipple)... all with my fingers. I think it is also important to wait 5-10 minutes for cc cream to set and then dust on Bye Bye pores powder. I use my elf complexion brush. I feel that this brush deposits the setting powder the best...better than my IT brushes. Sometimes I mix the bye bye pores setting powder with the bye bye pores bronzing powder. I use Bare minerals summer bisque to conceal any blemishes or redness. I also use the bye bye undereye very sparingly under my eyes over the cc cream.

I love IT CC Cream and I have tried too many BB's and CC's to admit to! I use Sara McNamara's Miracle Skin Transformer as a primer (I know it is not a primer, but it works for me...totally blurs all pores) then I use just one pump of the CC Cream and apply it to each cheek, the forehead, nose and chin. I use an IT flat head foundation brush to apply, using a buffing technique/movement all over the face. It works beautifully. The more you buff the better it looks. I apply any eye illuminator after the CC cream, if needed. Then I apply a little bit of the CC Cream Blush in Natural (obsessed with this stuff). Wait a good 5 min then dust on ByeBye Pores to the T-zone. Done. Lasts all day!
