Anyone know anything about Rohto for eyes?

A client said it is a popular beauty secret making the whites of your eyes whiter, therefore your appearance more youthful, a "lift" to your face. {#emotions_dlg.glare}

Eye drop product? If so, I read about it about a year ago and the reviews were mixed but leaned toward negative.

They make many different kinds of drops and they work well but i will warn you,they burn like heck.Every one of them burns like you are putting battery acid in your eyes but I still use them cause I like the way they work including the lubricating ones.

Re: Anyone know anything about Rohto for eyes?

I use the Rhoto hydra drops, and like them. My eyes are very dry, and they soothe my eyes. I also have the Rhoto cool drops, and they make your eyes whiter, but have a menthol feel to them. I have been told that using eye drops to whiten, or get the red out are not advisable because they contain a decongestant to shrink the red. I have not had problems with the Rhoto hydra, and rarely use the cool. There is one called Ice, but I have never tried it.

Re: Anyone know anything about Rohto for eyes?

There have long been 3 Rohto formulas in increasing strength -- Cool, Ice and Arctic. They recently came out with a maximum strength one that is even more powerful than Artic. I use the Ice formula because I have very sensitive eyes that frequently and easily get irritated and turn red. I HATE it -- I am so jealous of people with really white whites of their eyes! There is also a Hydra formula just for lubrication of dry eyes. Rohto drops are supposed to be "a stoner's best friend" -- LOL! I try not to use the drops too often because your eyes can get addicted to them, but I will put in a few drops if my eyes are particularly red that day and I want to look nice. Red eyes can really kill an otherwise nice, flattering make-up application.

p.s. Yes, they do BURN when you put them in, but the burn doesn't last too long.

Wow, the "cool" version really does contain menthol. I think I'll stick with normal drops for dry eyes.

The hydra and the cool versions do not burn my eyes. It is a cooling soothing effect to me. These are not the stronger versions of Rhoto.
