Re: Anyone getting the St Tropez TSV?

I tried St. Tropez last year. I will never buy it again for these reasons:

1. The color doesn't last as long as other self tanners, so a bottle doesn't last as long as others.

2. It rubbed off on sheets, furniture, etc.

3. If it was hot outside and I was perspiring, I could look down and see brown perspiration which rubbed off on clothes, the car seat, and other items.

4. Lots of product gets absorbed in that mitt--wasteful.

5. I didn't like the smell.

I am just curious about why the smaller size. It used to be 16.9oz. and now it's 13.5oz., that's quite a reduction. I am going to get through what I've got and then try some different ones that Ulta has.

I accidentally fell upon latex gloves to apply tanner. It works! Couldn't find my Tarte mitt and didn't want to get my hands messy. I had nursed my mom back to health after s serious surgery and had gloves left over. Tried it and it's all I use to apply self tanner now.

Re: Anyone getting the St Tropez TSV?

Sorry to bring this back up to the Top...I'm late getting here.

Question to the St. Tropez Ladies: I watched the video to be sure it can be used on the face area, since I didn't see it mentioned in the description.

1. Do you like how it works on the face?

2. Is a sponge the best way to apply? I'm not sure which type of sponge to get, since I haven't used sponges 'in general' for a long time.

3. Lastly, looking for an Inexpensive but good exfoliator for face & body?

St. Tropez ladies,

Your help is very much appreciated. Smile

BellaCarro - ty for the tip re: the laytex gloves - it makes sense. I'm going to try them for the body - I still wonder re: the face, though. If you are around & see my post 'above'.

I don't know why people don't just go with their natural skin tone. You were born that way so nothing looks better.
