Re: Anyone getting the Dr Denese TSV?

I use these products, but don't care for the eye gel. I'm trying to use it up, and I certainly don't want anymore of it. I'll have to pass on the kit since I'm stocked up on the other 2 items.

I use any eye creams I don't like on my upper lip lines. Just an FYI.

Re: Anyone getting the Dr Denese TSV?

I know she has plenty of fans here but I've not had a good result with this line. I've tried three Dr. Denese kits in the past and returned two. Hydroshield was the only product I cared for and I still have some leftover. While I am a bit curious about the Firmatone, I have more than enough skincare products on hand so I can pass.

I wish she would do a TSV with her 76% Peptide, that one I would definitely get.

Re: Anyone getting the Dr Denese TSV?

I tried Dr D last year and really, really wanted to like her products. The glycolic pads were good and I had gotten her dream cream moisturizer which was nice. I ordered her jumbo size kit and just could not deal with her tinted day cream, on me it looked orange and I found it to be thick and pasty and it actually made my skin feel dry. I also felt I was not getting my money's worth for her Hydroshield serum. The first and main ingredient is dimethicone which is a generic moisturizing agent but after doing research I found that for many skincare/ cosmetic companies is an inexpensive filler and not a cutting edge ingredient. So for me her products just weren't worth it so I sent them back and moved on to other things. I don't mind spending money on my skin but I want the ingredients to be top quality when I am paying high prices. I know people on here love her but her products just didn't do it for me.

virgosun, I love her pads! Hydroshield, Facial Firming Age Corrector cream and tinted day cream and some others but I would not pay full price - I get them in Kits, some I've had for years and Pay no shipping and there is no end date on the AD's.

Re: Anyone getting the Dr Denese TSV?

Glad you are happy with the line, it just didn't work out for me. I was really worried about all the dimethicone in the Hydroshield which you are supposed to use day and night because from everything I read it is basically coating your skin to make the product have a good slip to it. When that is the first and most plentiful ingredient rather than further down in the deck it just bothered me considering the price. But if your skin reacts to it well, then good for you!

Re: Anyone getting the Dr Denese TSV?

I wasn't that familiar with the TSV products and checked the review on Paula's Choice and the two serums rate ""Best"" and the eye product is ""average"" I think. I am still on the fence though as I not sure about how the serums feel. I just haven't been able to find a serum that I like enough to purchase. I do like Estee Lauders Night Repair.

Re: Anyone getting the Dr Denese TSV?

I will pass because two of these products contain soybean. I recently had breast cancer and had a bilateral (both breasts) mastectomy. Now I look at the ingredients in everything. I am trying to avoid soy. There are a lot of different opinions in the medical community regarding soy and breast cancer, but I just want to avoid it. I went to Dr. Denese's website to check the ingredients in the FirmaTone, and the fourth ingredient is soybean. I found the ingredients on QVC for the hydroshield, and the second ingredient is soybean. I could not find the ingredients listed anywhere for the eye cream. It is my understanding that ingredients are listed in the order of the amount used. The highest being first. I got the last Peter Thomas Roth TSV, which was the Retinol Fusion PM night serum and the un-wrinkle night cream. They do not contain soy or soybean, and I do like them.

Re: Anyone getting the Dr Denese TSV?

Well I have had nothing but good results from Dr Denese and I have tried many skin care lines and always go back to DD. I ordered mine when I got the E-Mail and should get it this Thursday. The price for those 3 items is great if you use the line.
