Need recommendations for contouring makeup.  I know about Seint, but don't want to spend that much.

I'm not sure what you mean, @Sunshine Kate. I know the technique and using a darker shade of foundation to accomplish it.  Is contouring makeup something different?

@Desertdi and @JeanLouiseFinch  - I don't understand contouring.  Is it used in place of bronzer?  Where do you put it?  I've seen it placed in the same place as a bronzer but then bronzer put over it?  I don't know, I don't understand.  Not saying it's bad or wrong, just saying I don't understand it.

@JudyL - good pics from @Desertdi   I've heard that contouring reduces and highlighting brings forward.  I used to try to contour and I ended up looking like I had a dirty face.  I gave up.

@Sunshine Kate , @Desertdi , @JudyL , @JeanLouiseFinch  - I'm not good at it either, so I gave up a long time ago. Because I have a round face, a makeup artist (I think it was Bobbi Brown) told me to suck in my cheeks, then proceeded to shade underneath. Of course I bought the powder, but when I used it at home it looked like I had mud on my face!  

Later I talked to a friend who was an mua and told her what happened. (She didn't live near me.) She laughed and said it was probably better if I didn't try it, unless I was comfortable doing it. She was right!

I'm not great at using bronzer either. I gave mine to DD.  

But that IS a nice palette @Desertdi !

I have tried and couldn't master it.  I really didn't need an extra step putting on make up.
