Any secret to applying St Tropez to your back without help?

I know this is probably a dumb question, but how do you apply it to your back? What if you don't have anyone to help you apply it? Anyone have the secret to applying it to your back by yourself?

Hello BetsyDoodle. I bought some sponges that come on a plastic handle off ebay that work for back application. I bought them last year and not sure if they are still sold on there. However, there is now a new gadget especially for applying self tanner to your back. I found them on ebay. It is item 121287454957. If you just go to ebay and type that number in the search bar it will come up.

I have something similar to this for applying lotion to my back. It is okay, but I would be leary of using it for self tan lotion. Because the secret to self tanner is the even application and making sure it it rubbed in properly. I have trouble reaching all parts of the back evenly. You can apply the lotion to the sponge, then apply top part of back. At some point you have to do it underhanded to get lower back. The pressure is uneven. The sponge I have for the lotion is a very hard, smooth , almost poreless sponge. It is good for lotion, but I would wonder if it would just apply the self tanner to top of skin, and not rub it in.

This is just my experience3. It is a great idea though. I love mine for lotion, but I never worry if I am applying it evenly.
