Another question about AHA and Retin-A

I started using Alpha Hydrox AHA souffle a few days ago. It's 12% and burns a little at first. I also use Retin-A, but don't know if I can mix the two at night. Should I use one on one night and one the other or can you use the two (after a space of time) together? I also use CeraVe night moisturizer over both. What are your suggestions? Thanks!
