Another nail polish question

Thanks to all who responsed to my previous! (Got me a ridge-filling base coat at Sally's and a SH top coat) but now I'm searching for sheer shimmer shades. Recs welcome! Esoecially drugstore brands. Or....can I just add clear polish to a shade I already have to sheer it down? Again...thanks!
