So now my long, fine hair is incredibly soft and silky and sleek. It's shiny, and lovely. But it's just as flamable as it ever was, which, when you work in a lab around natural gas burners (think bunsen burner only bigger), is not so good. I've always put my hair up in a banana clip on the back of my head, and the clip used to stay solid and tight in place, no matter how much walking, bending, or moving around I did. Now my WEN hair is so smooth and heavy and slippery, the doggone banana clip will just slide out over time! And you know what, I'll just pop that sucker back in there, NO WAY I'm giving up my WEN! But it's a little mini-p.i.t.a. Isn't it wierd how having healthier, more beautiful hair can turn into a strange little problem? Anyone else notice stuff like this, like your daughter can't keep her barrettes in her hair any more? Anyone dreamt up a work-around for this kind of thing? Maybe I should coat my banana clip in rubber cement and let it dry, so it grabs better?
