Does anyone have the current 800 # for Amazon. You've helped me out before, but they keep changing the number.

I'm very surprised. I couldn't find a number on their website. If you're having a problem you have to fill in a short questionnaire and give them your phone number and they will call you.

You go to amazon.com then in the search box type"contact amazon" then on the bottom is a link "if you want to talk to a live person" select that then choose a reason then it gives you an option to enail, live chat, or phone. when you choose phone they contact you

This is such a bee otch that I keep a sticky on my computer. Search Amazon for "contact us, then select "talk to a person," then pick out order#, then call."

Log in, click on the "Help" link at the top of the page, then click on "Need More Help," then click on "Contact," and you're now on the page where you can request that they call you.

I just talked to someone - there's a place on the screen, at least if you have an account there is, where I put in my number. Someone called me in less than 5 seconds and resolved my problem immediately.

I've never copied the number because it's been so easy to use that form.

I'm always amazed at how fast they call back after you complete the form. You barely have clicked ""send"" and the phone rings! I just love Amazon!!!!!!!!

I love amazon, buy everything there. I will say the number to call them is well hidden. They do not make it easy at all. Since I have an account, I click return, or contact by product in my order status tab. It is also found under HELP. but you have to click many times to find it.

However, after you find the darn thing it is a fast, pleasant experience.

I had a couple of problems about a year ago. After a long search I found their customer service number. I've kept it on file since then. Here it is:

1-800-201-7575

Edit: I just called the above number. Amazon has disconnected it and refers you to the website. However, they have a number for international customers: 1-206-266-2992. I called that number and it gets you into a telephone tree with choices ranging from returns to kindles. It seems like this is the number to call.
