I was in love with the scent of Amazing Grace. For the past few months, I noticed that my spritz doesn't smell the way it used to smell. I thought I was having some sort of smelling problem, but then realized that everything else smells the way it should. I called QVC customer service and they have no idea if the scent has changed. I'm wondering if the perfume still smells the way it used to smell. I don't have any perfume at present, but the 3 in one gel has lost it's fragrance. I was on auto delivery and found myself with 6 bottles of body lotion and 6 bottles of 3 in one bath gel, (enormous size), and several of the spritz. Am I going crazy? Please share. Oh, the body spritz now smells like Freezia (spelling?) and I hate that smell.

I ask you...did they change the smell of Amazing Grace?

I feel they changed ALL the grace scents....but this was actually quite some time ago. My understanding is they say they didn't and perhaps the ingredient deck still reads the same (I have never checked) but they have changed the amount or something. I don't think the lotions or body wash for AG or PG have much scent at all anymore. I did sample the PG body butter at Ulta and it did actually smell right, but not the AG.

My H used to go crazy (in a good way) when I would wear my grace's.....now he says nothing, one day I LOADED it on and then he did comment but not in a positive way! The only one that still smells similar is IG, but even that has changed! Frustrating!

Last year I got the tsv. I got scent of AG. But was so disapointed I went through the bottle of fragrance in two weeks. I switched to FIL and like AG i loved the scent but it just doesnt last. The price of the AD was way to expensive to be going through the fragrance in two weeks. Its really sad because the fragrances were what I was looking for in clean scents and were really pretty.

I'd like to know what Cristina would say. I know she's out of the picture, but it would be interesting to see her reaction to opening up a sealed bottle of the newer product and taking a whiff.

I have the IG spritz, and it smells the same to me. I almost choked when I heard on QVC on selling the trio, that it's like getting the $40 spritz for free. I thought, it sells for $40 now? I looked on the Philosophy website, and it went to $26 from $25. I thought they raised it $15. It was the olive oil scrub, lotion and spritz trio presentation. The prices continue to go up though. . . .

The spritz in the trio is a 16 oz size. The regular $26 spritz is only 8 oz.

IG has always had a stronger scent then the other graces, and I agree it is still the closest to the original, but unfortunately NOT the original either. I had an old bottle of the IG body emulsion until recently, and the newer is different, and I do have an old bottle of IG spray fragrance, it is different!

I noticed the change long ago, my mom just started loving PG, thinks it's great, but she never experienced it before Coty took over. I wish I hadn't either.... I have ordered directly from the company, hoping it would be better, because for quite a while the testers at Ulta were still the original formulas, I was so confused, even my DH would notice the dif when I would come home from Ulta vs. using my own. Now the testers are the same. Smiley Sad

Thanks, Patty67, I didn't know it came in a different spritz size. That explains it!

You're welcome. Very rarely do you come across a 16 oz. spritz for sale on its own. There was only one time when philosophy.com had them in a sale--since then, I only seem to find them at qvc in these "jumbo" trio sets.
