Advanced Facial Firming Pads

This may sound like a silly question, but I'm new to this particular exfoliation process.

 

Am I to gently wipe the Dr. D pads over my face with no need to apply pressure?

 

The first time I applied it, I applied pressure and boy! did I pay for it!  So, the second time I simply wiped my face.  Will applying it gently over my face be effective?

Yes, it's a chemical exfoliant, you don't need to apply pressure.
