I didn't sleep most of the night thinking about the wedding tonite and the horrors that I could face.

I always keep a pad of paper on my bedside table  for sketching, lists, etc. and it was full of items I needed to pack up in my kit. I finally got up, made my coffee and went the mile and half to the office to pack it up and get it off my mind.

Hair pins, bobbi pins with culing iron/dryer/flat iron, dry shampoo and spray, double stick tape for straps, hems, etc., all the makup + foundations one and two shades darker, blush/bronzers also darker than our original few appts. in case the tan is still too dark on her light skin.

I'm hoping she followed my suggestion of continuing to lightly exfoliate with a net shower sponge and try to get as much of that fake tan off as possible.

Dreading this wedding and I'm usually so prepared and confident. I'll go back and see if there's anything else I may need to add, but so far, this bride has thrown me off at every appointment.

I'll try to report back on Monday....7PM tonite cannot come soon enough.

Good luck!  You're really a gift for those brides.

Re: AWAKE AND OUT AT 5:30AM!!!

You say that you're dreading the wedding. Is this really worth it? It's on the bride now, you have done your part the best you can. No wedding is perfect, and if the bride isn't happy, it's not on you.

. Maybe I'm seeing this wrong, but the bride sounds like someone who is impossible to please. Just try to get through the event. It's no longer up to you, if she doesn't take your advice.

@Shanus   I read something about a faux tan that really went awry for a very soon bride to be. Is she a daughter, a relative of your's? All of this too traumatic to have happen just days prior to the 'I Do' words to live by (hinthint winkwink). They always say a bride-to-be shouldn't do anything crazy just before her wedding.

Here's hoping the happy couple end their day in a most beautiful ceremony. And then you can catch a breather or two too.
