How many incarnations of the same hair tool can there be? My drugstore hair tool does a great job at a much lower price than the one shown last nite AND it dries my hair at the same time saving the blow dry step before using the PERFECTOR.

I also have the original Revlon Volumizing Dryer/Curler (oval shape). It saves a step, too. It works on 2nd day hair by activating the styling products with heat.

Of course, silver hair requires a heat protectant and low heat setting to prevent damage/yellowing/scorching.

Re: ANOTHER CALISTA PERFECTOR

Can you tell me what brand/model  your "drugstore hair tool" is, as I'm looking for something just like you described.  Thanks.

@Clearsunshine   @Shanus    I have that same Conair tool which works great.  I got mine at Amazon about 2 years ago.

Re: ANOTHER CALISTA PERFECTOR

I don't know about another one, but I do like the one I have better than any of the other tools I have tried excepting basic combs and brushes.

As a result of Covid, I've let my hair grow a bit longer than I had been wearing it, but for quite a while I had been hoping they'd offer a smaller barrel.  Might actually buy one if/when I go for shorter hair again.

Re: ANOTHER CALISTA PERFECTOR

I like the perfector.  The best thing about it, other than the fact that it works on my hair, is that I can't burn myself with it.  I have a hot tools curling iron, and while I didn't do it often, I have gotten a burn.

The challenge I have with the perfector is keeping it clean.  Hair product eventually gets between those spikes and so far I haven't found an easy way to clean it.

Re: ANOTHER CALISTA PERFECTOR

I have one of her original cylinder shaped perfectors but I would love to have a "paddle brush" shape instead of the round cylinder shape she makes.

I was thinking about trying the “perfector” but, I haven’t had any luck with any of her other products... I am still deciding if I should try it or not ☺️
