I'm sure that fourpaws meant no offense at all and probably had no idea how the word is viewed now, which I did explain in my last post.

My parents' generation used to refer to "colored" people. We know better today and are hopefully more sensitive in our dealings with others.

That's not "politically correct"; it's common decency.
