A question on face primers

I was wondering if any of you ladies know of a good face primer for very sensitive skin. My make-up goes on so much nicer when i use it. I have used for the last few days the Laura Geller spackle that came in the test tube and now i have red pimples. I haven't changed any thing else so i figured that was the problem. I am hoping for some thing inexpensive. Thanks in advance.
