I've been using it for at least 25 years. A co-worker actually gave me a tube to use. (It was considerably less expensive back then!)

@smoochy I do use my Merit foundation stick as my concealer as well. I just need to use a good eye cream before application.
The Merit line (promise I don't get any $ for recommendation) is meant to be about a 5 minute application with very few products. It includes a moisturizer/primer that's great to wear to apply before SPF and the stick.

I bought that stick a few weeks ago after you recommended it. I like it. My color match is excellent. It's a versatile product

Same as you, prefer foundation under eyes. I don't have darkness there. Concealer, only if have maybe a red spot, blemish, etc.

@JerseyGirl44 I got the CC under eye concealer when it was a TSV. I agree with your assessment. I just love it and the powder just adds to the finishing touch. I am glad I got it on A/D.

Years ago I ran across a tip from a makeup artist who said to dot your concealer on and let it set for a bit before trying to smooth under the eye area. That seems to work well for me.

From the time I first started wearing makeup in the late 80s, I have mainly heard to wear concealer one shade lighter than foundation. That never worked for me. Made me look ill.
But in general all concealers regardless of shade make any under eye puffiness I may have MORE noticeable. So years ago I started just using my foundation under the eye. It looks way more like me, more natural I guess.
As for dark circles, I am noticing I rarely have them anymore since I stopped dairy. FWIW.

@Desertdi wrote:Are you interested in actually REDUCING your dark circles?
There are two ingredients that do this: Eyeliss® and Haloxyl®, made by the French company Sederma®...and are ingredients in several eye creams.
This is NOT an overnight wonder...it takes a few weeks to even months to correct your circles...
I use TIMELESS® brand...but you can search for others.

Wow, this could be what I'm looking for. Thank YOU! I'll give it time even though it's by Timeless.
