Good morning! I'm sitting at the salon and a little girl I know well is sitting next to me telling me about her week. She is eight and we must discuss the week's events. Her phone rings and she answers it... she says to her little girlfriend "hello doll!" I thought that was so funny!

I know a 16yr old named Doll, asked if it was a nickname for Dolly but no...it's cute & unusual so I looked it up, it means gift of God.

She is a real sweetheart! She is my stylist daughter. She comes to the salon on Saturday morning to do her "chores". She has to empty the trash, sweep, make sure the towels are stocked. She does all her work before he grandmother picks her up for the day! She takes her job very seriously! And of course we chat. She makes my day.
