A Happy Post!

To be honest friends I hesitated to post this out of respect to mkwanfan2 and the losses she's endured, but I thought a bit of good news might brighten the day (and please know mk- you're in our thoughts and prayers and we're so glad you're back with us!)

On Friday I delivered our 2nd little Philosophy girl (4th child) at 11:28 am after 4 (blissfully short) hours of natural childbirth. She weighed a whopping 8lbs 7oz (compared to our first three which were all about 6 and a half pounds) and is just perfect! We've named her Charis (which is pronounced like "Paris" with a "K") which is the greek word used in the New Testament for "grace," so her siblings (7,4 and 2.5) all call her "Gracie". She's a delightful baby and a wonderful addition to our family!

For those of you that may remember, our DD Eden is the first girl to be born into DH's family in over 100 years and so we're delighted to have added even more pink to the family line. (And I can't wait to start pampering my little Philosophy girls). {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}
