A Good Root-Lifter?

Hey, ladies! Got a haircut over the weekend and my hairdresser went a little heavy-handed on the scissors, so it's a bit shorter than usual although still works for me. However, the look she gave me is going to require a good root-lifter of some sort - any suggestions?
