So I have noticed a trend in the posts here as of late. It seems like we are all about feeling comforted and warm and we desire our scents to take us back to simpler and more secure times in decadent and soothing, but delicious ways. It seems to me that the scents that we have been talking about lately have a common theme. IMO, it is a creamy vanilla note. Sometimes that vanilla note is infused with caramel, other times , ginger, other times, fruits and nutmegs, and of course the simple dairy cream note. Vanilla is the scent that supposedly men love and apparently so do we. Now we may not want to smell like a marshmallow cream puff all day long but we seem to gravitate to those scents that have a creamy vanilla note, a least IMO many of us do, fresh cream, pumpkin pie, egg nog, crispy marshmallow bars, we seem to "tolerate" the chocolate notes or love them more, (depending on our point of view),if there is a vanilla creamy note combined...so it is just my opinion that philosophy is really missing out by not providing us a wonderful simple vanilla scented line like fresh cream to follow up all of the "foodie" scents with. A warm vanilla scented line of products would complement every single one of the fondly remembered scents that we love and miss, from the lemon to the pumpkin to egg nog and everything in between. I have stocked up on my Vanilla Bean Noel so that I can spritz and use lotion after my CMB, bananas foster, fresh cream, etc showers. Do you all agree? It would be great if there was a lotion for everything but this would be a great place to start and I think it would be wildly popular and a huge money maker for Philosophy. I really wish they would follow up on this. I tis not like any decent marketing person couldn't see that we would purchase this line! {#emotions_dlg.sad}

My question, is there a fine fragrance that would be slightly more complex and perfume like, that is very vanilla and warm but not overdone? I really would like any recommendations that you ladies may know of that might fit the bill and until philosophy provides something I am looking. Thanks and have a great philosophy Sunday!
