A BIT OF TIME TO ANSWER QUESTIONS

Every so often, I like to offer some time for questions. Of course, we're all experts by now, but some burning questions/issues may still exist. 🤣

Re: A BIT OF TIME TO ANSWER QUESTIONS

I have relatively good lashes except the lower section near the corner if both eyes. My lower lashes look great with mascara except for the bottom lashes near the corner. I use a Lash booster first.  Should I just not use mascara on the lower lashes or is there some trick to doing this?  Thanks for any advice.

@Couns1   I personally do not wear mascara on bottom lashes because it tends to transfer and crease. If you, however, like the look of mascara there, you can use the mascara and then fake the lashes that are missing with a soft pancil and "dot" in those areas or smudge a shadow right under lashes and go under the area of concern.

Hope that helps.

Re: A BIT OF TIME TO ANSWER QUESTIONS

One quickie: I've switched eyeshadows from powder to the stick tape. It's easier, and I don't get the powder fall out anymore. My question is, do you need to put an eyelid primer underneath the shadow stick? Thank you!

What specific brush do you use for powder blush? I have all shapes, sizes, and angles and still not sure which works the best...seems I'm always heavy handed. But I do love me some blush!

@Effie54    My experience is that stick shadows act as their own primers. I do use ones that are advertised as waterproof or smudgeproof.

@pupwhipped   I use the Trish McEvoy angle brush, but there are many others that are less expensive. I also use BB Powder brush which also gives a lighter application.

I usually tap the brush into the powder and tap if off on my hand first to get even more off the brush before taking the brush to face.

@pietook    Unfortuneatly, SPF can give "flashback", but it will benecessary on the beach. You may want to try a   few spfs and see which ones (taking selfies outdors) give less trouble than others.

Makeup: Usually, indorr photoshoots you could get away with more makeup since the artificial lighting fades color. Outside, you may want to lighten up on bronzer, blush and concentrate on complexion products. To look more natural, most women tend to wear less makeup on the beach, so being overdone w/ smokey eyes, etc. may look unnatural. Of course, define eyes with liner and mascara, but go neutral with shadow and definitely mascara. Some highlighter on the high points of face will look great in sunlight, too.

Try to find out if all your friends are self tanning. If yes, you may have to follow suit to not look overly pale compared to them. You can use a temporary body bronzer.
