I have read a few threads about 613 EDT. I am thinking about adding it to my cart during my SHP restock tomorrow. I dont have a clue about the scent- never used 613 CC. I've read it has citrus and vanilla notes. Does it smell similar to any other fragrance? and would you say its floral, fruity, powdery, spicy, etc.? All thoughs (like or dislike) much appreciated. Thank you.

It is mostly vanilla bean with a hint of lemon. It is not a strong scent to me, though others have said it is. I wish it had more staying power. I have found that if I spray a few extra sprays, it has pretty good staying power for an EDT. Chaz recommends two sprays. I have been using 5 or 6 to get it to last.

I think it's OK. But coworkers do not like it. At all.

I got it because I liked the idea of a lemon, vanilla, rosemary light, fresh scent.

I was very disappointed. All I smelled was a heavy vanilla, initially and on the dry down. Not a hint of citrus to my nose. I sent it back.

The bottle is attractive. It's heavy in weight yet has a sleek, modern look. And the amount received is good for the pricepoint.

Unfortunately, that vanilla was too cloying. I like vanilla as one scent paired with others. Also, the vanilla ran counter to the idea that 613 was a fresh, light, clean scent.

When you first spray it on the citrus notes (lemon, lime, & bergamot) along with the mint, basil, and rosemary are predominant but you can smell the vanilla is there and softens any sharpness the top and middle notes may sometimes have. The vanilla in this is like a freshly split and scraped vanilla bean; it is not sweet or like vanilla extract. As the fragrance dries down the vanilla bean note blends well with the lemon and rosemary leaving a soft, fresh, and almost ethereal fragrance that makes me feel peaceful and rejuvenated. This is a unique fragrance I personally love. It lasts 8+ hours on my skin and you do not need a lot of this, two sprays of this and people standing next to me have given me compliments. People who have hugged me (a lot of people right now) keep saying "you smell so good". It has brought a smile to my face. This scent could be worn by a female or male. I would the scent, although soft and cozy, has a clean scent; basically it doesn't matter if you are a male or female you just smell good, it is hard to put into words I guess.

I bought it because of the rosemary and lemon, both of which I like very much. But when I use it, I don't smell either of these 2 ingredients. Not even a hint of it.

I like the fragrance (smells just like the 613 CC), but it doesn't have staying power. I wish they sold this in a rollerball or something more portable so that I could reapply it during the day. It I spray it on before I leave for work, it's gone in a few hours, and the bottle is too awkward to take with me.

I'm not sending it back, but I won't be ordering more, either.

A bit O/T: I discovered that although I like the scent of vanilla, I, like you, need to have it as one component among many. This discovery came from my recent purchase of Pacifica's Island Vanilla, which so many rave about. Oh, boy, it's vanilla all right. I might as well have dumped a little bottle vanilla extract on myself. I couldn't get past it to smell any of the supposed other notes.

Thank you friends,

I think I might just pass on this for now until Chaz comes out with a smaller version. I would hate to have to return it because It wasn't for me. I appreciated all your opinions.
