Today, I did laundry and finished wrapping presents. I am almost ready for Christmas. We are supposed to get snow tonight but it’s not supposed to amount to more than an inch.

Good Evening Everyone!

@snardy, DH and I are almost finished with wrapping. I’m really just trying to get everything done for my family’s get together this weekend. We pick names because there’s so many of us, but I always get a little something for my brothers and sisters and a few others as well. Our DGS arrives tomorrow! Our  DS will pick him up at the airport, then we will all go out to dinner. I talked to my doctor today. I’m still not feeling as good as I’d hoped by now. He wants me to continue what he prescribed. I have an appt. next Wednesday, and then we’ll see. I hope you get snow, even if a little. Enjoy, friend, and know I’m thinking of you!💕

@LTT1, I’ve been meaning to ask how you like the tree you ordered. How fun to run in to an old friend from school at the spa. I’m sure you two had a great time!😊

@RetRN, I hope your wrist/hand is feeling better. I forgot if it’s your right hand. Take good care and let us know how you are doing when you can.

@JustJazzmom, today was the last day to use my VIB  coupon (20.00) from Sephora. I knew I wasn’t going to make it to the store, so I ordered a couple things online. I also have a few Brighton pieces I bought years ago on the Q when they sold it. Make really nice gifts!

@MariotaMurielle, I do hope you’ve gotten some answers on what happened with your DD and you’re a little more at ease. I’ll worry until we hear from you. You know we all miss you.🙏❤️

The gift gods were good to me tonight.

Visited Michaels & took a frame with cracked glass & a Mets Mike Piazza picture that my Dad had created for our youngest son who is a Met fan (the other 2 are Yankee fans). They are going to do a new black frame, a better color mat for the picture & it will have non glare glass & be ready on the 24th!

They still had bare wreaths and I spied a spray of silk poinsettias, 2 pine cones & some red doodads on this one spray. The wire stems looked like they could be separated and then wound around in spots on the wreath. I had told our middle son, I didn’t get a chance to create a wreath for his new place as I was so busy. Well, it turned out great! Cost to make: $9 plus tax!

He will be surprised to get it.

About the neuropathy test. My thoughts are that if Medicare  allows it, my doctor will run it, but this could be wrong!

The little tree is less than spectacular in pictures! The tree we had up last year (for the grandkids) is still in storage and it is nice but not this year. We will leave so soon after the holidays to go to PA that it seemed more comfortable to scale down the decorations. I’m still working on the “little tree” which is very nice considering it was such a bargain!

When I was in the day spa on Tuesday, I ran into a retired Assistant Pricipal ... she was also there for what-not! It is always nice to see old friends!

Hi @LTT1: We live in the same neighborhood of about 22 single family homes.  I knew@RetRN watched QVC so one day we set up a forum account for her. I didn't even let her select her own nic - I just said that since she had just retired from nursing, we'd go with RetRN.

@JustJazzmom, yes, you sure lucked out and got a great deal getting what you need to make your DS’s wreath. I’m sure he’ll love it!

Our DGS is here! We just got back from dinner at PF Chang’s. DS just left and I’m ready to call it a day. Tomorrow, we’ll get last minute things ready for our family get together at my brother’s house this weekend.  We’ll be spending Saturday night there. Good Morning!--We got back late Wednesday night and yesterday they called and asked if I'd work today, so I'm going in.  I'll post about my NYC trip this weekend.  We had a great time and it didn't get cold until the day we left!  DH & I are meeting my friend and her DH after work today for dinner.  They're moving down to NC too and will be living just down the block from us, so we want our DH's to get to know each other a little better.  It sounds like everyone is busy, Xmas is just 10 days away!  

Mochahoney--I'll be praying for your DD and I hope that everything is O.K.  I'm sure you're worried sick about her and are just waiting for tests results, etc.  Check back with us when you can.
