Re: 50 Is The Age of Possibility

I quit the Facebook page - got tired of the filtered and AI pics women were posting of themselves, and moreso the ensuing arguments about them.

ragging on something because it does not fit your needs or your perception is way beyond lame.  there are folks out there that are not the same as you.  their needs and wants are different. what motivates and encourages them is different.  its not a matter or wrong or right.

share the successes you have found.   post it all over.  rejoice in your joy.  it could help someone who has same likes and needs as you

@TheMemphisVette Excuse me, but isn't this post doing this:  ragging on something because it does not fit your needs or your perception is way beyond lame?

many folks will not enjoy this promotion,  they are not wrong.  but they need to find what they do like.

Nothing but a marketing ploy to get gullible females to buy more stuff.  Same old package, just has a different colored bow.

@TheMemphisVette Again:  Don't voice an opinion that is not all rainbows and kittens.  It isn't tolerated.  Seems to be what you are saying.  It's not ok to dislike something and say so?

But it's ok to say you don't like people to not like something.  I find this all puzzling, but the above message is clear.

@Sooner

you seem to be missing most of the negative posts.  they do not want the program to air.

not liking is one thing.  wanting to dictate what is aired is another.

they can not like things all day long.  in fact many of the negatives are from folks who only post negative.  that speaks volumes.

my issue is they don't want things they don't like to air.  this is the wrong.

i have no issue with things i don't like to air.  i just find something i do like.  i do not want only what i like to air.

i want Q to be successful.  airing all different types of programing and hosts.  something for everyone.

agaIn i find this very easy

Re: 50 Is The Age of Possibility

[ Edited ]

I understand the marketing behind it. QVC is trying to tap into an overlooked group or "unseen" group whichever you prefer. And generally, in this demographic, the income level is higher. What I don't understand is the choice of hosts. Since when is a vendor a host??? Mally may look great, but if I have to listen to her say "Mama" one more time I'll scream. And, by the way, her makeup is not for older, more drier mature skin. It is cakey and thick. And her hosting ability is no bueno!! I try to watch it because I like the concept, but it is too much for me. It's become a circus.

Re: 50 Is The Age of Possibility

I am quite enjoying the FB page. Seems the introductions are less and less and now women are posting about things that others can relate to- how much for a mini facelift, husband asks for divorce after 25 years of marriage, kid living in basement, best kind of lube for older women.

I belong to a lot of self care type pages on FB and this is like that. I take what I can use and pass by the rest. It's another resource for women who are looking for answers and advice.
