@RetRN , @JustJazzmom ....DH already has a hospice doctor. He has a team of doctors and is getting great care. I went to see him today, shaved him, and gave him a manicure.

hi friends. we've had thunderstorms since yesterday and some were pretty bad. lots of local flooding but thankfully, we're on a hill.

DD had her post-infusion followup appointment in New Orleans today for her MRI and lab results. her doc said there are no new lesions, and that her existing lesions appear stable and without active inflammation. this is wonderful news and I'm so relieved to hear that her doctor said she's doing great.

my little garden is doing well and I already have a few tomatoes growing.

@catwhisperer, try to remember to take care of yourself during this very difficult time. I'm so sorry to see this news about your DH.

Good Morning!--We had fun playing pickleball yesterday and then we just did a few things around the house.  Our friends came over for dinner last night, we grilled steaks, they were good.  They are going back to VA today to spend Mothers Day with their daughter tomorrow and will return in two weeks for Memorial weekend.  We have nothing planned for the weekend and I'm looking forward to just having nothing on the schedule!  We'll take our walk in a little bit.  I hope that everyone has a great weekend!

Catwhisperer--I'm so sorry about DH, it has to give you some comfort to know he's getting the best care possible at this time.  I do hope that he's comfortable and not in any pain.  Take care of yourself too, get some rest!

not much going on around here. dh ran all the weekly errands early this morn.

not much else. more rain sunday thur thursday,when is that sky faucet going to turn off.

@catwhisperer this is probably the best thread to post such devastating news. The people aren't intrusive and won't second guess what you say. Surely you have some big decisions to make so I'll send good thoughts during this time.

We have rain moving in tonight into tomorrow until Monday. I don’t mind because all of the plants I had planted in April are doing well. I had to shut off the sprinkler system because of all the rain we have had recently.

I did pick up more peanut pieces for the birds today. Those birds eat a lot! 

Laundry is now in the dryer. 

I got a 2nd bouquet of flowers today from our eldest son & DIL. My dining room table looks like a florist shop! There is a vase of tulips & a vase of white flowers with purple irises. 

Tomorrow we celebrate by going out to eat.

Good Morning & Happy Mothers Day!--It's been a quiet weekend and I'm loving it!  It started to thunderstorm around 9:30 and they're calling for thunderstorms the rest of the day!  I hope that everyone has a wonderful day today!
