Snappy:  Isn't it good to be away from the place for a couple of days; just put it out of your mind for the week end.

Wonderful that the treatments are so short and at least you know you will get a good nose, perhaps even a better shaped one after the treatments are over. I remember how it felt when I really didn't know that my husband would be well...awful to see him go into that room and know he would be left alone.  The treatments were so long and the t radiation effects so deep; he always had to rest for another day before he was able to get another treatment.

If you have to get on a freeway on the way to the treatments, I'd do everything I could to avoid driving; that really scares me and the time of morning when you have your appointments the freeway is bound to be busy..   Those trucks are everywhere here as well; have to pray not to panic when I have to drive myself.and even when someone else is driving I am uneasy.

Your daughters are probably very different; the way they drive often tells a lot about temperament.  I for one, am very much like your younger daughter, always very careful about my driving even if it takes longer.  One of my sons could also get there in half the time, he often scares me as he weaves in and out of the traffic.  Of course, maybe that has something to do with the fact he is a driver for UPS.

I just noticed you said the treatments would be 5 days a week for 6 weeks.  Wouldn't that number give you more than 18 or 19 treatments?  I was assuming you would only have to go 3 times a week so I misinformed the ladies, what am I missing here?

Praying you will soon hear from your son about the driving; my sons are not as dilligent about informing me of their plans as my daughter is.

R.C. Sproul just said that because of all the medical problems he has had in the past year, it has become his prayer to ask the Lord to take the fear away.  This is just how I intend to pray from now on; I know there are many vallies ahead and to learn to "rest" in the Lord as they happen makes total sense.

Have a peaceful and restful week end, dear Snappy.
