Hi there possummink, thanks for the pictures. The one of the cat sitting on a pillow that looks like him is fun. It's close to 90 here today, but I'm inside and comfy. Just heard that my GS#2 is engaged. He posted pictures of the ring, the proposal, the acceptance and the smiling faces. They don't plan on marrying for more than 2 years, so anything can happen. We like her. The seem good together, but neither of them has real jobs which may be why the long engagement.

Please ladies, dear friends, stop by to let us know how  you are. Truly we worry about you a lot. Peace and comfort to each of you.

“Avon Cottage” (according to the cute little sign) in the Cotswolds of Gloucestershire. The Cotswolds are a range of hills in west-central England, an area 25 miles (40 km) across and 90 miles (145 km) long; made famous by their picturesque villages, rolling hills, and cottages built of golden Cotswold limestone.

Hi Snappy,  It was an all day rain that we woke up to this morning.  It really didn't storm, just rain,  and it was enough to keep the pool bars from opening and the umbrellas from being raised.  We spent a  lot of time feeding seagulls and just relaxing.

My brother called today ans said home was hot and that mid to upper 90ies for the weekend.   I'm really looking forward to cool fall weather.

I hope  you are feeling well and staying in where it's cool.

Wishing all here a nice Friday.   We are getting up early to head back to DS's home.   Will try to post more when we get there.

Good morning ladies. My post just ended up on the PET LOVERS forum!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRR My Mac is all over the place with this new format. I tried posting yesterday and my iPad kept freezing up halfway through my post. I had to keep rebooting . That has happened here since they changed the format, however it's been getting worse. I don't think I'll be posting much anymore unless the Q makes this site more Mac user friendly. POSSUMMINK, thank you for the pictures!! PHLUPHY, you are in my prayers. Good luck with the move my beloved friend. I love you all.

Hi to all, my two Grandchildren came up to help me pack the garage, most was done but I have so much "stuff" it had to be sorted through.  My GS did most of the work, he has now surpassed his Poppa in height, my husband was 6:4" tall, and he is only 14, going to be 15 end of August, so handsome too.  What a God sent he was for me, I would have never been able to handle it all.  This move is really getting to me, but it's not over yet.  I'm hanging in though.  Thanks to my Buddy Babyfran talking with me, and the ladies on this Forum.

My GD came later, she had a job to do an then she headed up to me.  They are so funny together, for sure.  Made me laugh a lot.

They are now both sleeping because they were talking and coming in by me an waking me up....we laughed.

Found some pictures with Poppa, they enjoyed and talked about him, they miss him a lot...so do I!!

Beautiful morning here, cool, sunny and no humidity!!

I will be off the Forum for awhile moving next week will be more then I can handle....Love to all. Possummink I can almost hear that little kitty meowing.  Such beautiful pictures.  Will be looking forward to getting back on here real soon.

Snappyfrappy, as always, thank you for your kind words.

Blessings to all!!

phluphy - what a tall grandson you have.  That is great they he and his sister came and helped you, grandchildren are the best.   I will be thinking of you and your move and know you will be relieved when it is all behind you.

It is so very hot here - in the 90's and so humid.  Today and tomorrow they are saying heat index will be 105.

I hope you all have a good weekend.
