i ordered a magazine sub by telephone and when i did, the total had my state sales tax added.  why do i have to pay taz on something that i did not buy in state.  i called my tax commission and they told me that i had to pay sales tax on all purchases no matter where i bought them.  and if i go out of state, then i am to report all my purchases and pay the sales tax on them.

they never have enough money and they just want more and more.

True, the state wants to collect sales tax on everything you buy - if it's a taxable item - regardless of where it comes from.  They have to fund employee defined benefit pensions and healthcare benefits, which are ever rising.  The Supreme Court has backed them up on this.

If your state charges tax on any item, no matter where or how it is purchased sales tax is required.  That is only right and fair.  I don't know why some are so resistant to it.  That is what pays for all the services provided by the state and if services were to be cut most would complain about that also!
