4B15CA8B-8738-4A31-B63E-FCE5F89EBBCF.gifHello, @MsLomo! Always a treat to see you here. Returning the love. Thanks for the kindly reminder.

@Q-Anu ~ this is for young Nathan:

And I'll express ship a box of the eucalyptus shower melts to you. Hoping you don’t all catch it, but just in case. I'm using them daily myself through this worst pollen season in my memory.

You must be tripping! Of course you'll fly on that zip line, kiddo. You mastered the water trike ~ you now have superpowers. We know Selah and Luke will try it, too. That leaves me and Rowan as bench warmers under a shady tree. We'll be sharing Tyler, and capturing y'all's bold descent for posterity on our iPhones. Epic, history making stuff!

Thanks for the link! Hits me right on the mark, being born in '61. Can’t imagine then how it is that I escaped getting the measles as a kid. Lord knows... I caught everything else, despite the big booster in kindergarten.

Sorry I can’t answer your GOT question. I've been confused about the raven thing from the start. WTH?

@SelahG ~ you...

...on the Wellness programs. I had to block the spammy emails, too. Huge waste of WiFi data. All of the exact same info is on their MyCigna website and portal anyway.

Are those baby chicks on your porch today?

Don't know how you can resist spoiling them just a bit! 💛 We have 33 ~ a very lucky number, but a few too many. I'll divide them with Becky and Agnes. Hee-hee! Something else for Jacob to dote on.

Later, lovelies! 💜🤗

Hi Snappy Lady.  Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday.  We all love you very much.

I am doing well.  I am going shopping this weekend for my birthday on the 27th.  I am not looking for anything in particular, just whatever catches my eye.

Hi ladies; I will be back later.

Hi, friends and sorry for my delay in getting back here.

@Q-Anu: thanks for your concern. I'm okay just busy and have been going to bed earlier to avoid getting too run down. I have worked and staked out my entire garden, after Darrell spread all that topsoil. He convinced me, that with his assistance we can raise our own veggies separate from Becky and Josh's (soon). Giving it a go! 😊 Hope to start planting a few things this weekend.

Still training the two newbs. That will continue throughout the spring. It's going well. I have a decision to make along those lines. They've asked me to consider the position of training coordinator. That would be more work (sometimes) but more $$$, too. With the cost of everything, including Jacob's schooling... I'll probably take it.

Right now it looks as though Jacob will be required to take one class again over summer break. Bummer, but goes with the territory. Thankfully, if he does... it won’t begin until after our group vacation. I can’t imagine what Logan and Nathan have for him this time! Our secret and he has surprises for all the children in his “gift trunk.” 😍

Gosh, I'm sorry that Nathan is so sick! Paused to pray for him and that the bug doesn’t multiply throughout your family. 🙏 At least we won’t have to fear measles - sorry for all who do! I heard on the radio news that the number of cases are the highest now since knocking it out in the U.S.

I hear you on the Wellness thing. Must be that every insurance group is requiring this now. Most info is common knowledge for all but cave dwellers. 🙄 Some of this money could be better spent on researching critical illnesses, including mental illness. Oh, how I wish there were a cure for Narcissism - including the many with obvious (to all but themselves)  Dunning/Kruger-effect. The world would be a much better place, with true progress in those things that matter most.

My mom had the cyst cut out at last, TG. Otherwise, no change there. As to Michelle, I can’t say where she and her daughter are, but they're safe and being co-sponsored with great love. ❤️ I try to speak with her each week. I see improvements and she's thinking seriously now about going back to work. Thank you for caring - and to all for the prayers!

We’re still watching James on Jeopardy, too! He's won over a million now. I wonder if he'll still be there when the new season begins in Sept. Praying that Alex will most of all. He can rest and better manage his health during the hiatus.

On GoT, I'm betting on either Tyrion or Brandon to take the iron throne! It was sweet of Jamie to knight Brianne. I fear they'll both die in the next episode.

I hope your ankle has healed! ❤️

@SelahG: FTR, I love your dress (for the wedding) most of all! I can see Becky in one like it, too. You won’t believe how much weight she's lost since you last saw her. I've only lost 4 pounds of the 10 I put on over the winter. Yes! She wants everyone to dress as they please and have fun. 🤗

So thankful that your A/U's house has sold! Are they going to buy, rent or build?

We're still clearing out some trees near our house, too. Just not worth the risk with so many storms.

It was sad to see Notre Dame going up in flames, and I don’t believe it can safely be restored in 5-years either. Wishful thinking! Glad I saw it twice before this happened during historical tours in Paris. Doubt I will ever go again.

I'm praying for Winona's wrist to heal, and considering the Levo stand for my mom. She mostly reads ebooks on her devices. Still does a little emailing and txting. She still likes phone calls the best, but I suppose the stand would be helpful for talking while reclining or laying in bed. Dad wants to move out of Denver, but I doubt he will ever be able to 'move' her.

@LurkyLoo: pretty shoes! Timeless and comfy.

I'm sorry about Erin. 😟 I sure will be praying for her. Seems that RA and other types of diseases are on the increase and among the young. I hope they can help to safely treat her symptoms and that she can find a better job to accommodate herself with less pain.

Your funeral arrangements sound the closet to mine and Darrell's, though we haven’t bought our family plot yet. We should get on that before our church's cemetery is full.

So glad you had a nice Easter and birthday! We did, too. (And sorry, Joy, but little Jax was a hoot - in his bow tie, no less! 🤣)

@HiLo: it's great to see you here! As you can tell, I'm not here much either. Once a week or so, I try to check in during my breaks. Mainly this thread, or any prayer request threads that I see, as usual. Not much of a draw otherwise, imo. Don’t do much shopping here any longer and there's no time to loiter about. Like you, my family and personal friends have to take top priority under God. I'm sure it's the same for most.

😳 Now where is my email from you?! I have checked my inbox twice and it's not there. When I get home, I'll search through the Spam box. Too difficult on this small phone. Often my legitimate emails get shuffled off to Spam and I would really like to know why.

Bless you for your concern for my son, Jacob. ❤️ With all you have on your mind and heart. (I read of it on Widows.) He’s fine, for the most part. Stressing out a lot over passing all of his classes. You know what that means... it worsens his other symptoms, but we're coping. My husband Darrell is being treated for a hiatal hernia and stomach ulcers. I think he may have gotten the hernia from heavy lifting, and you know all about his high stress job as a State Trooper. I've adjusted our diet and it's helping me to drop a very few pounds, too. I am praying for all of your loved ones - and you, of course! You'll hear from me soon rather I locate your last email or not. Much love to you! ❤️

@snappyfrappy: 😰 I'm heartbroken reading this news on Shirley's brain tumor. Takes me right back to my co-worker friend who died so young. That was her primary cancer, though and larger when discovered. Just devastating... I'm so thankful that Shirley's was caught quickly and is treatable. I hope the colon cancer is in remission. You both have all my love, prayers and support as you await news of how they will proceed. ❤️

Get plenty of rest - you know we understand if you can’t post as much. Again priorities. Don’t want you getting sick, or straining your eyes! The UTIs have been quite enough.

Hopefully you'll be up to the family birthday party this weekend. I'll be thinking of you enjoying time with those adorable baby girls!

@WaJa61: Joy... you never take any credit for ANYTHING. One of the things I most admire about you, but how else would Becky and Josh have ever met? 😘 Hilo is right, as usual!!

You know I have no chicken coop yet, but Becky will welcome them, and for sure, Jacob and I will help care for them. Nothing better than farm fresh eggs!

😜 You're too funny, but you and Rowan better make room for me on that bench, too! No way will I be zip-lining from such heights. I also saw that you (or B.B.?) signed me up for the dunking booth at the festival at his resort to raise funds for the school. I'll be helping - even if on litter patrol, but no dunking! I can't stand the sensation of a sudden drop. B.B. would be funniest up there anyway. Could definitely encourage the kids, or adults to buy a chance at dunking him! 🤡

@DeLaney: ❤️ Marcia, thank you for the lovely video! Needed that myself. I'm praying for your FIL, BG's mom and the man who was recently released from prison. It sounds like his heart is in the right place.

The highlight for me is definitely all of us being together again, too! I admit I'm looking forward to the Salt Cave & Spa, too. Speaking of salty retreats... have you seen the NOVA episode on the Dead Sea yet? So sad, and I have my doubts that their expensive plan to save it will work.

Please call me sometime soon. Either evening of the weekend is best for me, but whenever you have a few free minutes. Personal concerns for someone we're mutually trying to support. You have already helped so much and we trust your guidance as no other. Coming from your heart, as well as your head. ❤️

@gloriajean: prayers for Lori, Darla and the twins! Blessings to you and yours always. 🙏

Much love to @MsLomo and @Issy379! ❤️❤️

Hello, WaJa, today my sister has/had an appointment with the radiation oncologist. She said she would tell me what he had to say. Next week is the last of her scheduled chemo. Her symptoms aren't gone this time which is hard to know.

She is brave. So concerned about her many animals, but her girls have promised to see to it that they have good homes.

The doc told her from the beginning that her type of cancer is brain cancer, not colon cancer and they didn't know why it was growing in that area.

I do tell her about the pastor's wife and how long she has been living with stage 4 breast cancer. BTW, she had a growth on her adrenal gland that, without treatment, is now gone! And her blood tests have improved by quite a bit. We regard that as a miracle. She has lots of pain especially at night. I hope that encourages my sister.

Sorry your sister needed surgery, but pray she recovers completely and soon.

DD and I have talked often over the years about how to find someone to clean the house maybe twice a month. The vacuuming, showers, etc., but we have no idea how to find someone we can afford, and who won't steal from us.

She needs to work one more year, two would be better, but I think she knows that's not going to happen, and she doesn't know if she could work should I go Home this coming year for instance. We know the Lord would open doors for her if needed.

I spent the better part of the last 2 days sobbing. So many losses, and my own mortality....we will all be together on Sunday, Lord willing, for all the spring birthdays.

Jax is a hoot and a caution! I doubt he did anything other than give a lot of people a wonderful memory and something to chat about over Easter dinner.

Dear MsLomo,

Wish I knew how to post some clever and lovely pix, but words will have to do. I've been told I "over share".....

really?

Thank you for remembering my birthday. I'm 85 and it's hit me like a ton of bricks. I mostly sobbed the last 2 days.

Just too much. My half sis died last month, my own sis is facing very serious cancer as you know. And there are other things we all have but don't share.

How is your dear hubby? Steady as he goes! Praying he heals and stays on his feet.

love,

snappy Heart

Hello, Anu....I am fighting the urge to take a huge scoop of that gorgeously scupted frosting, and pop it into my mouth...oh, you say that's not possible???

For sure it's a feast for the eyes.

Thank you for remembering me. I know Issy's is right about now also. Maybe the 27th?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, dear Issy! Hope Mr. 6'2" makes this a very special time for you.

I know you feel loss now. Things aren't the same, but they can still be good.
