I am  ranked esteemed.  What is the amount of posts to reach the next level and what is the next level.  Is there a list I can check.  Just curious.

Don't know about a list but I reached "honored" contributor at 8,000.

It took me 10,000 to reach "honored"...

I don't believe there is any set formula

I don't think the forum mods have published a ranking guide.  I just noticed that I had my 12 yr. anniversary a few days ago, for being a forum member.  My post total is over 20,300, and I'm ranked as an "Honored Contributor".  I'm guessing that may be the highest.  🤷‍♀️

@bonnielu.  It's a mystery for the ages but don't worry about it.  It means absolutely nothing.

We've had numerous threads about this over the years.😊

The Community forum is a prepackaged platform used by a number of sites, and these "rankings" are just a part of that package.

The Q Community doesn't use all of the titles, and as others said they're not very meaningful or useful.

The software algorithm in general uses a combination of: 

number of posts; 

number of hearts given/received; 

number of page views; 

and in some cases sites use number of signins.

This explains why someone might have zero posts but a higher so-called "ranking" than someone with a few posts...  that sort of thing.

On the Q, I'm pretty sure the changes stop at the "Honored Contributor" level.  The highest post count that I've seen (looking today) is more than 127,000 and that poster is listed as "Honored Contributor."

Here's the list of "levels," displaying the ranking title and a general, approximate range of post counts from a past thread -- you can see it illustrates the fact that post count isn't the only factor:
