So funny just saw Kim Gravel on and they were  showing as the show started  at 3pm the  model Rebecca was wearing a nice looking cozy Sherpa shacket  but not  one pocket but 2 pockets ,so NO FOR RIGHT SIDE POCKET  AND NO  FOR THE LEFT SIDE POCKET.Never ever went for pockets up there on me, but never called myself a fashionista either.

Re: YES NO MAYBE?

To a minor extent, I think it depends on the fabric.

I will not wear a t-shirt with a chest pocket--the pocket sometimes stretches and hangs open at the top on a tee. But a button front shirt of chambray, oxford, broadcloth or similar, with a flat neat chest pocket on the left side, is okay with me.

I absolutely will not wear a garment with chest pockets on both sides.  Nope--too complicated a look!  And any shirt with a pocket (or two) that has a flap (with or without a button on the flap) is never in my wardrobe.

I am fully endowed, and I wear very good foundation garments with support to keep the girls nicely in place. As I get older, I have had to fight gravity, so a better bra helps for looks and comfort. But I don't like bulk up there on my clothes, hence my objection to flapped pockets.  I favor bust darts sewn into women's shirts, but it's not a dealbreaker.

To me, the best way for any woman to look good in a top, either one that's woven or knit, is to wear a good bra with comfortable support, giving a smooth natural look under clothing. Worth good money, no matter what your figure is. And it's a benefit to replace a bra when it's tired and letting you down, so to speak. A shirt pocket looks worse when it's in place where the bosom should be, but the actual bosom is too "low".  Invest in good bras and the pocket issue becomes just a fashion preference, not a flattering factor.

Just my two cents.

NO. And I especially hate it when there are pocket flaps and the corners curl up after washing. I have had to stitch them down in the past.

I don't care one way or the other.  Back when I was much heavier and big busted, I would gave said definitely not.  Now it's ok but I wouldn't put anything in a chest pocket.
