Do you think you can tell who you would like it real life or not?

I think it's easier to tell who you wouldn't like.  lol

I learned early in life that a person's public persona isn't always the person they are at home.  Because of that I am the same person all the time.  There are people I try not to cuss around.

Yes. Absolutely. Not because I always agree with them, but because they always give thoughtful and interesting replies here. And some just because they are fun! I can never resist a good sense of humor.

There are lots of telling clues about who people are in their posts. If you follow them for a while, the picture becomes clearer.

So, yes, I think we begin to identify who we relate to the most and who we would probably like in real life. As in real life, we generally gravitate toward those we see with common interests.

@Junebug54 That's a funny thought. A little off topic......... sometimes when I'm out and about a person will say something or do something that makes me think, gee, that sounds like something "poster A" would say. The funny thing is it sticks in my head and I always visualize her as the person I saw.

I'm sure none of my observations are even close but it's just something fun.

But to answer your question, I know there are a few that I would love as my neighbor.

@cjm61

I do somewhat the same thing. When I'm out and about I'll think of some of the suggestions from the group.

Like in Costco yesterday seeing some of the things that have been recommended.

Another note it was frightening in there, so crowded and figured it would be so was prepared for the most part.  Maybe not so much for my 28yr old son who accompanied lol.

I picture posters in my head. No clue what anyone looks like, but I usually have some made up image of what they look like so when I see a poster's name, I have a "face" to go with the name.

I think you can tell a few things about some of these people by their comments and things they talk about.  It is interesting to think about.  But I would have to get to know them better and sometimes people are not what they seem to be.

For example I have a couple of friends I was not crazy about at first but as time when on I got to know them better and we ended up being pretty good friends.  These were people I worked with.

 One person I went to school with and never cared for her then, but she will hang with some of us who went to school together now and then,  and no matter how hard I try I just do not care for her so I do not spend a lot of time with her.   Just never clicked.

So you never know.   I try and not surround myself with people who have too much drama or always negative.  Just don't need it.
