Among Friends

Why can't I get  among friends in date order--had before

Go to the Among Friends thread.   Right beside the word Reply, are the words Topic options.   Click on that, then click on newest to oldest and the posts will be in date order.

Look to the left of this text box and see the name of the Among Friends forum in the list.

Click on that.  Once you are in the Among Friends forum, near the top of the page you should see the red box named New Message.  Right next to that is the Options.  

Click on Options and a drop down menu will show.  Scroll down in the drop down menu and click on Edit my Preferences.

Once the Preferences screen comes up you are going to see some choices.

In the area called Linear Layout, click on the radio button to the right named Oldest First then scroll down and hit the SAVE button..

Once you do that, then look over to the left and click on Topic Layout, click on the radio button to the right named Oldest First. then scroll down and hit the SAVE button.

Once you do that, then look over to the left and click on Home Page, then click on box that says Show Latest Topic Components then scroll down and hit the SAVE button.

That you should straighten you out and you will see what I see.  What that means is that you will see the posts that have been responded to the first.

Red Top thanks for advice but it isn't working for me. Maybe my son can get it back when he comes.

I got on but I didn't see options etc. I did see something from possum.

I have tried and can't get it. Son doesn't have chrome like me and doesn't understand either. If I can't hear from any of you it was nice knowing you and talking. I wish the best for everyone of you.

After listening to Alex from Jeopardy I was wondering if you ladies knew if your husband had a serious illness. I didn't only diabetes. Looking at the death certificate it said renal cancer which really threw me.

@halfpint1  my husband was diagnosed with cancer.  I was up front with doctors about wanting to know the truth and prognosis.  I was lied to so in that respect he was in worse shape than either of us knew.  My husband had kidney cancer and based on what I saw with him and a couple of other people I knew with kidney cancer by the time they find it, it's pretty bad.
