@San Antonio Gal   I have purchased both. New with tags or New without tags are not washed because they are selling as new.   I understand for sanitary reasons but it's what they use that  is so offputting,   There is a statement on eBay website that clothes must be offered for sale in accordance with eBay standards.  I just know that some sellers must go overboard in using whatever it is  they use.  I have had to return a few items because it was that bad.    

I recall another poster here who had the same complaint,  she said she received something that had such a terrible scent she could not get rid of it no matter how many times she washed it,   I have had to resort to soaking items in vinegar and washing items several times to no avail abd returned the item.

I used to like Poshmark and yes you can get some good buys but you. better make sure because you are stuck with it if you dont like it or it doesn't fit.  Some posters  don't give very good information  and in my experience take forever to get back to a comment asking for information and the then offer expires
