I was never an avid bra wearer.   I'm not large chested so I could get away with it depending on what I was wearing.  Of course as we get older it becomes more necessary.   But honestly I live in my Spanx cami's.  They are light control and comfortable for this post breast cancer girl.   As far as special birthdays, well I turned 60 in November of 2020 so needless to say there was a only a celebration with me and DH at home, LOL!    We did do a Hawaiian cruise for DH's 60th and that was wonderful.  I do travel a fair amount so I actually feel we celebrate life all the time!

I just turned 70 and yep, I go braless at home too.

Its just DH and two boy cats 🐈‍⬛🐈 at home and they don't  care. 😘

That is as risqué as it gets around here🫣🤦🏼‍♀️💃🏼

As soon as I retired, I stopped wearing makeup, cut my hair shorter and stopped using a curling iron, and refuse to dress up period.  Pajama days and no bra are a regular thing for me.

In a few years, Lord willing, I'll hit 80.  As a present to myself, I will go braless at the house.  My mind has left the building.

If you're having a milestone birthday (one that ends in zero) 60, 70, 80 etc., what present have you given to yourself?  This will be a real, turning over a new stone.  LOL

I'll be 90 in a few weeks. Had my hand operated on last November so couldn't fasten a bra, never wore one for a couple months and never missed it. I could not tell you if my friends or neighbors have a large bust or small . Do people actually look at other peoples breast? Seriously?? I have never heard anyone say,"Oh my she doesnt have a bra on"!! Free yourself if they bother you, I just feel better wearing one. As far as presents, I buy myself present all the time.

No milestone birthday this year.  I'll be 64.  The older I get, the more comfortable I am with doing what makes ME feel good.  I don't care much about what anyone, except hubby, thinks.

I am having a milestone  bd coming up.  I never thought about gifting myself something.

Now you got me thinking.

I always wear a bra and always will.  I was never into make-up.

I never swore.  My kids call me Sister Carmela Marie and say I am a goody two shoes and always told them I am gonna get wild in my old age.

Maybe I'll take up swearing.

It's hard for me to find bras that come with a 32 band size. I've found several I've picked up from Victorias Secret, but I really wish the Q would offer some. I can't believe Breezies doesn't. I've heard people say to just go up one band size & down a cup size, but that doesn't work at all for me. It's very ill fitted.

You and I are the same band size and I agree. I found 32s online at Gap Body. I can't wear VS, they are uncomfortable for me.

As for the "up, down and around advice." Just, no.

Thanks for the tip about Gap Body having those bras. I find the Victoria's Secret bras to be uncomfortable too but that's the only place I've had any luck. Occasionally, Macy's may have one but it's normally a style I wouldn't wear. I do like an underwire & a little lift lol.

I'll be hitting 60 in 2026.  I really do need to start stretching and walking more.  Maybe I should start now instead of waiting 3 more years.

I used to wear a 32 band size.  Wacoal has them in any cup size you can imagine....up to 32K, some is bigger cup sizes as well.
