The supervisor of your local post office has a supervisor somewhere. It may take some digging, but I would try my best to figure it out, and then I would go higher and let them know what is happening, and ask them what they are going to do about it.

Good luck.

I don't think the non-delivery of the packages is a result of the post office's attempt to deter theft after delivery.  If so you would have been officially notified that all future packages have to be picked up at the post office.

What troubles me is that when you check the package(s) are marked as delivered.  This tells me there is a big problem, either the carrier is just automatically scanning them as delivered, or someone at the Post Office is scanning them as delivered before they are loaded onto the vehicle.

Since you can't determine for sure where the problem originates, you need to take this to a higher authority then your local post office's management.  Knowing myself, and knowing the confusion within federal agencies, I start at the top and work down until I get someone's serious attention.

I feel your pain.   I am saving lots of money because I rarely order online for home delivery.     I am on an old rural route, our post office closed and I get  my mail from the nearest city and those of us on the old rural route are treated like a stepchild.   My mail runs at 7PM.     That's just part of it.    I surrender

If shipping preferences are available from the online vendors, check the one you have good experience with.

Some are no are or minimal charge.

You can also e-mail the USPS; go to their 'Contact Us' option at USPS.com.

Packages are usually not delivered by your normal carrier

@I am still oxox

All of our USPS packages, even big heavy ones, are delivered by our regular USPS driver, and around back to our Patio Room. Those that fit in our rural mail box are left there. Now I am speaking of orders, not from QVC.

Now our Saturday and Sunday USPS mail, is delivered by many different drivers, all full time USPS employees. I know this because I have talked with 3 of the weekend drivers, and they are not part time employees.

Why it would make a difference if the orders were from QVC, or some other vendor when it comes to a USPS delivery? Maybe someone else knows that answer, if it is fact.

@Thrive

If the supervisor decides to deliver your packages because a carrier will not?  If she is the "top dog" at that USPS Branch, she has the power to discipline your your carrier(driver). If she chooses not to do so and in is a cause for you to have to call?

Me personally? I would move up to the USPS District Manager. I know from a recent incident with my USPS driver, nothing to do with our mail, that they have a direct boss, and that boss I know answers to his boss.

Long story short. My driver thought he knocked over my neighbors mail box. He called his boss and stayed until his his boss arrived. I know, because I was out by our mailbox talking with the driver, and then with his boss when he arrived. The USPS driver did not hit the neighbors mailbox, it was our trash truck driver, and I told them that because I saw part of it.

Anyways, you need to move-on up the chain of "Chief Honcho's" with the USPS if your branch office is not fixing this problem. The USPS is paid by some vendor to deliver, whatevers, and that is what they are contracted to do, regardless of the package size or weight.

These are suggestions of what I would do.

 This post office has awful ratings.  I almost hate to order anything lately.  Is there something that I can do to improve the service?

You can file a complaint w/the Inspecter General office.  Give them "details" of your concerns.  They will keep you updated on their investigation & the outcome of same.

In my area we often have another truck deliver packages.  Our mail carriers don't ever leave packages by mail boxes and put them on the porch or by the door.
