Re: What Are Your Christmas Plans?

Tonight my daughter, her husband and toddler grandson are coming over.  They will stop by the local Chinese restaurant to pick up take out.  My son is here too and my brother will be coming over as well.  Everyone except my brother is staying over.

In the morning we will open gifts then extended family will come over for Christmas dinner around 3pm.  When they go home, my kids and family will stay for another night.

Just my sister and me now. My neighbor invited us to have lunch with them, but she is sick, so my sister and I will eat here with pasta and salad I picked up at the local pizza place. I was not about to go to the grocery store on Christmas Eve, no way. Anyhow, everyone enjoy there day as best you can.

I am making ribeye steaks, loaded potato casserole, glazed carrots, spinach with bacon and onions and my son is making baked 3 cheese macaroni. I'm also making a green salad and to drink peach iced tea. It will be 4 of us.

We open one gift tonight and tomorrow the rest after we eat.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Re: What Are Your Christmas Plans?

Christmas Eve my daughter and family went to church with me and after came here for dinner and gift exchange.  We had a nice time.

Christmas Day I am going to her place for dinner  and check out all the gifts the kids received.  Probably watch some Christmas movies as well.

I can't believe another Christmas almost over.   Goes so fast and way too much work to be over so soon.

I do have to say I downsized on how much food and snacks were needed and less waste for sure.  I am taking the rest of the veggie and fruit tray over to my daughters and the red velvet cake roll my grandson has been waiting to have.

This holiday season has had some sad moments for me but some nice ones as well.  I am grateful for those still with me and could not have done it without them.

Merry Christmas everyone.
