Not long ago, that crossed my mind too.  I have to say, (maybe he isn't looking, but John is the only one I tried to get a picture in my mind's eye.  After going to WW, and just looking at other women at the store, there's more people I might look like than not.

Wish I could say, Julia Roberts, but oh well.  I look like no one but my sister.  We are told that all the time.  We don't see it by the way.

Are you speaking of hockey John?  He said in a post awhile back that people said he looked like George Carland.  I pictured him tall and thin built, but better looking.

As I read the different posts by different people I sometimes wonder what they look like.  Just by reading their responses over time I get a feel for what their life style is, what area of the country they live, some of their likes/dislikes, etc.  I wonder how close my perceived picture would be to the real person?

Probably not even close.

I have often thought about this because I  have a picture in my mind of what each poster looks like.  I hit it on the head with @Laura14!  LOL  Since only a few have ever posted their pics here, I guess we won't ever really know.

It is a bit like when you have heard a radio announcer for years or had numerous phone conversations with someone (doctor's office, bank, ) and then you finally meet them or see a picture.  It can be a real shock sometimes!

Learned that lesson when we once upon a time, used those radio's to talk to truck drivers and locals.  There's a few surprises out there. LOL  I prefer to see what their hearts are like and we've got some beautiful on here.

@Winkk

If you saw a picture of Ann Bancroft ( the Graduate ), you would see my twin....I am the one with the white streak in front of the dark hair.

Too, Suzette Pleshette from The Bob Newhart Show also is someone folks think I resemble.

Does anyone think I look like Sally Field? First you'd have to add more weight and height.

Re: Visualizing What Posters Look Like

Hi @Winkk

Me?  Picture Willie Nelson and/or George Carlin. I've been told by many that I resemble, take your pick. Nope, not into pot!  I take either as a compliment.

Like most, I visualize those that post regularly on these forums. "Back in the day" when only AM Radio was around, I used to visualize the Radio shows characters. Cisco Kid/Pancho/Clark Kent/Sgt. Friday(only the facts) etc. I also pictured several of our local DJ'S, and I was shocked when I saw them. Their voices, for most, did not even come close to how I visualized them.

Maybe now as an old, old man, my visualization might be a little bit better. Have met 2 that post here and they both matched up fairly close, visually, as my perception. And character wise, they were exactly what I thought they would be from reading many of their posts.

Ya never know!
