@haddon9 .. but I am on Safari on my iPad and iPhone and I can edit and delete on them.

@Boehm Collector  Computers & Devices have & uses different OS systems from each other.

Macbook Air - OS (computer)

iPad & iPhone - iOS (devices)

Like apple & oranges, totally different  operating systems (os).  You cannot do the same things regarding the "system" because of the differences.

SIDEBAR:  Now there is a device called iPadOS 26.  It's operating systemm is a mixture of BSD, OS & iOS.

Not sure how it works as I personally never seen one demostrated.  I never see anyone play around w/it in an Apple Store as it is NOT on display in my neck of the woods.

@Mz iMac . .thank you.  I was not aware of that they use different OS systems.

I have noticed a lot of programming (IT) changes on the Internet in the past couple of weeks.

I don't believe there is an actual device called ipadOS 26.

The new operating system number "26" is merely the latest update for iPads and iPhones.  They changed the number to 26 for compatibility with the Macs.  (Previously the iPads and iPhones had different numbers than the Macs.)

The update is also supposed to bring to the iPads more features that are closer to a Mac.  However, the iPads, iPhones and Macs are not exactly the same even though they share the same operating system number.
