If anyone has purchased upholstery foam on line, would you share your source?   I need to prop up my seat cushions on my sofa.

I did purchase some from JoAnn Fabric but the sizes they offer is a little shorter than what I want.

thanks.

I bought a piece from Amazon for the same purpose and cut it down to fit.

Re: Upholstery foam

My sister did just a few months ago. She bought it from Amazon. She bought it for a livingroom chair. It comes in sizes.

I bought two different types of foam from Amazon.  The first type was sold in sheets.  We cut it to size with an electric kitchen knife.  It was used to plump up the cushions in a sofa in an RV.  We have had it for a little over three years with no problems.

AK TRADING COMPANY.  We bought the 4" high density foam 24" X 72" but they have other sizes and firmness.

I also bought foam to use for recovering dining room chairs.  The brand is FOAMMA.  I also ordered high density.  It was sold in squares already cut to size.

I would recommend both products sold on Amazon. I prefer high density foam because it is very firm and doesn't break down as fast.

Thanks for the replies.  I cannot use any to thick - the padding in my couch is in good shape just needs a little reinforcement.

@Mom2Dogs   You can buy any thickness you need on AMAZON.

Here is a great tip.  Always cover the foam with plastic before trying to slide it into the upholstered cushion cover.

Dry cleaner bags are great for this.  It saves you a lot of frustration.  You can pull and cut the plastic away easily once the foam is in the cover.
