The er can't do anything but check vitals and give shots or x rays.  I need none of that.

WRONG. The ER does a lot MORE than what you posted. SMH.

@ECBG You can be admitted as an inpatient from the ER.  They will evaluate you, run tests and if you need care or treatment, it will be provided.

I don't understand why you are fighting this.  You need to take this seriously.

I know this sounds off base but I have been wondering if she has early stages of dementia. It just seems she is all over the place with her health issues and none of it makes sense. I don't mean to be offensive but I have been trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together.  I do wish her well.

@elated   I am thinking this also.

With all the health concerns written yesterday and today, she is posting movie reviews on the board.

Hopefully, her family will find health solutions for her.

She needs a medical intervention.

Unfortunately, the husband's judgment is suspect, too.

This situation has been going on for months and months.   It doesn't seem to be getting better.  I just don't understand the reluctance to go to the ER and get some real answers to what's going on.  What they're doing at home doesn't seem to be working.  Home PT is going to be a waste of time.   She seems to be deteriorating mentally and physically at a rapid rate.

this is all so odd, most of it makes no sense. I will continue to follow, but highly doubt we will ever get the real story.

Re: Update ECBG

[ Edited ]

@ECBG About fifteen years ago I woke up in the middle of the night with some chest pain. It wasn't terrible but I was afraid to go back to sleep.I wondered if I should go to the ER.....Or was it just indigestion?

Around that time I had an Etsy shop. There were a lot of clubs on Etsy that sellers could participate in. I'll never forget about this woman who was a club leader. It was around Thanksgiving and she had complained about having a headache. She went to lie down and take a nap and never woke up.

So after thinking about it a bit I decided to wake DH up and at 3am we went to the ER. It wasn't fun but it at least put my mind to rest that I wasn't having a heart attack.

I'm not trying to scare you but we're all just very concerned and want you to get well.

And I bet that absolutely no one in the ER told you that you should not have come in to get checked out.  @haddon9.

If my husband was going through this he would be in my car on the way to the ER and if he didn't cooperate I would call an ambulance.  Not sure why her husband is not taking this serious.

@tansy....no one made me feel foolish and I'm glad that I got the piece of mind that it wasn't something serious!

Posters may not be reading far behind their post so they say mine is difficult to understand.  I can't keep retyping everything over and over.  Help!

I do sincerely appreciate their concern and love!
