@ECBG   If you have a blood clot you have to go to the ER.  This is a life threatening condition.   One of my childhood friends just passed away because of a blood clot.

Bless you.  This is not an emergency.  I thought I could get into a rehab not emergency room.  Thank you.

Thank you.  You may have missed the post where I said the therapists were going to come to our home.

@ECBG    I don't think a therapist will solve your problem if you have a blood clot.  Please go the the ER asap.

The er can't do anything but check vitals and give shots or x rays.  I need none of that.

@ECBG    You have got to be kidding?!?!?!   That is so far from reality.  Please go to the ER.

@ECBG , I don't think some posters had seen that you had already seen the doc about the clot and the doc has you on blood thinners for that.

Hopefully the Eliquis has been doing its job. I was put on Eliquis for a clot years ago and a friend was put on it for a clot in his leg a couple of months ago.

Hopefully things are improving for you day by day and you can get those therapists out there soon.

Speaking of therapy, I know you had mentioned being on oxygen.  I don't know if I missed it or if you have stated the reason for that.  There is also respiratory therapy available that you may want to talk to your doc about to get those lungs working right again.

It sounds like she is under a doctors care for her blood clot and is on blood thinners.  It won't shrink clots, but will keep it from getting bigger and new ones from forming.

Unless she has terrible pain in her leg, chest pains or is coughing, lightheadness, or a fast heartbeat, a trip to the ER won't help.  If she has these symptoms, it is an emergency.

She is trying to get physical therapy ( PT) but she will need a doctors orders/ prescription to get it.

You can't schedule PT on your own and she can't go to inpatient rehab because she hasn't been in the hospital for three full days.

She can get outpatient PT or PT through a home healthcare agency if she cannot leave her house with doctor's  prescription, but it appears she wants inpatient rehab.

It's not gonna happen. She is beating a dead horse.

If ECBG is on a product like Eliquis, it dissolves the blot clot. Mine was superficial and was gone in about two weeks time.

However, one must be very careful when taking this drug. My dr. explained if you bang your head or cut yourself, go directly to the hospital.

I personally think OP's update should be enough information to reinforce that her health situation is under control.  I certainly get the reasons for concern, but it's been clear to me from the beginning OP was under medical care after her fall and being seen often.  Way too many assumptions were made and expressed.

The one thing that hits me hardest about a quick fall in the home, is how fast a persons health can decline in numerous ways, to take them out of this world!
