It sounds like you confused rehab and physical therapy, @ECBG.  Your posts have been difficult for people to understand.

This morning 2 providers told you to go the ER. In order to go to a rehab under Medicare you need to be hospitalized for 3 DAYS. Otherwise they won't pay. Since you outlined your serious health issues why the change in attitude about this not being an emergent situation? @ECBG

blood clots   aneurism   dvt   pe     are all major killers   in the united states 60,000 to 100,000 die each year from blood  clots       more than 15,000 die of ruptured aneurysms     anyone that doesn't seek immediate medical care to me must not know the mortality of these medical issues     get help ASAP

I assumed the rehab was easy to go to; not so.  Maybe they only work with traffic victoms.

I think she started on blood thinners which may be causing the swelling issues. Be kind everyone when you have health issues like this sometimes you are not your best advocate for many reasons.

@spumoni99.  Exactly.  That's why I kept asking her who was with her.  We have no way of knowing how attentive her dh is.
