I think if you are asking a person an important question which requires a quick answer and you have worded the text this way, and then you don't get an answer pretty quickly, then that is inconsiderate. However, if I had a really important question that I needed an immediate answer, I would not chance it waiting for a text back, I would get on the phone and call -- or --- if it is at a work place, I'd go to the person and ask the person face-to-face. It seems most people have their cell phones always on or nearby but there could be circumstances where they are busy and can't get to you to answer, etc. If texting casually, then I don't think it's rude if a person doesn't text you back immediately. All of this depends on circumstances, I think.

well the problem with calling angelpuppy1,is that he never answers his phone.i had no option but to txt.i now know why people retire and run far from bs,unneccary drama!I swear when my time comes,I'm never ever looking back!

@Luvsmyfam , I've never texted a message - don't even know how to. But, yes - if you send a message someone should respond back as soon as they can. The same as when someone leaves a phone message.
