My twin granddaughters are named after me, my 2 middle names (a Canadian thing I guess): Gwendolyn and Sadie. When our daughter told me about the names, I was quite surprised, and happy.

Yes. Mary Beth's daughter-in-law is expecting twins! Her son called her when she was on-air and really surprised her!! She tried to hold it in but of course she cried. It was at the end of her time on air. That's probably how the Q worked it out with her son; otherwise, I don't think she would have been able to continue on-air!!

I didn't see it when it happened live but a link was posted at the time so l did get to see it. It was really special to see! She's such a sweet lady and great host so I'm so happy for her and her family.

I think this was a month or two ago so l don't remember when the babies are expected.... but it was certainly a special phone call for her!!

The twin thing with the 40 something women is due to invitro.  They insert 2 or 3 embryos now to increase the chances of one "taking".  Most women don't want to risk quadruplets or quintuplets but some are willing to take that risk and that's why we see so many quads and quints today.  The Clooneys are so wealthy that I'm sure they have a couple of nannies for each baby.  2 or even 3 sets of twins would be nothing for them.  Just more babies to love.

@EastCoastGal  Oh thank you.  I too saw the link because I missed the live event.  I am very happy for all of them, they seem to be such a wonderful family.  How exciting, twins.
