Hello Friends,
My follow-up appointment re. shingles/hives went well. The medication that causes sleep deprivation is finished as of today and she said the after effects should leave rather quickly. Thankfully, the shingles are resolving on my face, neck and upper chest. She checked and there do not appear to be any in the eye itself. The other medication will continue for several more days, and I still have some itching and headaches now and then. But I am definitely on the road to recovery and am so thankful for my proactive treatment plan and my wonderful medical team. My Shingrix is on order but I must wait until early January for the vaccination.
I've had shingles before (27 years ago) and they lasted some six weeks with severe neuralgia for a year afterward, so as you might imagine I was really concerned this time around. I recall my doctor at that time telling me it was the second worst case he had ever treated!
On a happy note I am thrilled that you enjoy the posts of Christmas music. I truly enjoy researching and posting all the inspirational albums, solos, vocals, instrumentals, etc. I love Christmas music. I know you do too.

I also saw them in Vienna on a trip with my Church. We had to wait until the service was over in a small behind the alter holding room. We saw the service on TV screens. As the congregation left we entered and left as they sang, so we could view the church.
We were able to talk to them later outside.
Unfortunately now I miss music the most at Christmas. I can hear that it's music but not the higher noted. No violins.
I gave my granddaughter several pre Christmas gifts to enjoy now. One is a music box with a dancing toe dancer fairy. I thought she was dancing to "sugarplum fairies" She listened and said it was "We wish you a Merry Christmas ".
