Well folks it's the weekend and what a beautiful weather weekend it's going to be here at the Maryland beaches.  We just arrived at the beach condo and our friendly other owners are all ready with us for umbrellas, coolers, good conversation, and good drink.

This may be our last 80+ degree weather so we will be soaking it in. Water is still warm so it's probably our last swim.

I hope everyone has a chance to have a relaxing weekend, no matter what you are doing.  Maybe turn off the TV and get outside 😎.  Enjoy...

I plan on relaxing the weekend also. I mowed my yard today instead of tomorrow so I can relax. Enjoy your time at the beach @bmorechick.

@monicakm  Love being outside at night...this past weekend, I and my three grown boys/men sat out on our screened porch, set up a tv and watched baseball.  It was great!  Shared laughs, beer, pizza and wings and had our own nighttime party.

What you guys did sounds like such a peaceful and quiet way to spend the evening.  Hubs and I have done that a lot and will into Fall until it gets too chilly for lizards 😆

@monicakm   Oh yes...mosquitos and all kinds of flying insects make it impossible to actually sit outside but we have a screened in porch.  Haven't had a mosquito bite in three years!  Nothing gets in here and that's why we sit outside after work and into the night during summer.  You know my "sit and sweat" sessions 🔥

Hi @bmorechick   Your post reminded me --- I have fond memories of growing up, summers, that then turned into cooling Autumn on Cape Cod, even well  after the summer craziness, & into the Back to School.

We'd have Community gatherings at Bonfires on the Beach - even into sweater wearing coolness.  Long talks.  Sipping beverages.   Taking in all all those dancing flames, and esp  that extra snap-crackl'n of burning the Driftwood in the Bonfire.   ahhhh   Woman Very Happy
