Re: Think you are having a bad day?

@LizzieInSRQ   How very sad for your work mate and her son.  She has had a lot to handle in a short span of time....like you, I would probably be tearing up as well....you are correct when you say some one elses' tragedy brings you back to 'reality'.

I will say a prayer for her and her son.

@LizzieInSRQ  - my heart breaks for your co-worker and her child. How awful for them.

@LizzieInSRQ   Your post touched my heart and you are very special to be so caring. Every time I learn of disaster I count my blessings that all my loved ones are safe and pray for others not as fortunate. I will pray for you and your and your friend and family. I think she's very lucky to have so many coworkers and friends to care and support her... take care of yourself at this time as well.

@LizzieInSRQ Your post certainly gives one pause, I can't imagine how I would come to terms with such tragedy. Bless her, and bless you for caring so much for her. I'llkeep her in my thoughts and prayers, life can certainly change quickly.

@LizzieInSRQ  I am so very sorry to hear about your coworker's husband suddenly passing and her home flooding.  To deal with the extreme heartbreak and loss of his passing and then have that compounded by her young son finding him and the home flooding.  Its simply unimaginable- the grief, fear, and fatigue she must feel. I pray that she can get through this and that the flood damage won't be too severe.  I am sure that the fund your company created for her and the outpouring of love from you, coworkers, friends, community and prayers will help her through this.  I'm so sorry that this happened to her.  I will pray for her and her son.

@LizzieInSRQ So sad to hear this. I will keep your co-worker and her family in my prayers. And you as well.

Hearing this certainly puts things into perspective, to be grateful for health, family, happiness and home.
